No problem, we can help. With the Asterisk Support Service from Aretta, we can help you with the initial setup and configuration of your hosted Asterisk PBX. Then, if you need additional assistance beyond the initial configuration, you can purchase support on a convenient per-incident basis (multi-packs are available).
By choosing the optional initial configuration when you order your Asterisk PBX, our support engineers will work with you on the initial setup of extensions, voicemail, trunking, auto-attendants, conference bridges, follow-me, prompts, etc. Then, whenever you have a future configuration issue such as a move, add, change or delete (MACD) requirement, you can either manage the change yourself in the FreePBX web interface or purchase per-incident support on an as-needed basis. Support packs come in single, 3 and 5 denominations.
This service is great for those who want the lowcost, full featureset of Asterisk but don't want to handle the initial configuration or ongoing maintenance of their PBX. In addition, if you have an existing Asterisk PBX, whether or not it is hosted by Aretta, you can still purchase per-incident support and take advantage of our team of Asterisk experts to help you solve your problem.
Whether you want to be completely hands-off or just want some additional assistance managing the PBX, our optional managed Asterisk service can be a big help.
Here's how it works:
- Order an Aretta NetPBX hosted Asterisk server from the product tab on our site.
- Choose the right package that meets your needs
- Pick an Asterisk template, if you are not sure which one to choose, pick Kris' Virtual Asterisk (KVA)
- Check the ‘Initial Configuration’ one-time option checkbox when ordering your PBX
- We will build out your Asterisk server and send you a 'cut sheet' to fill out. The cut sheet walks you through step-by-step the various options you wish to configure on your PBX. From extension names and numbers to voicemail, main menu auto attendants all the way to conference bridges and one number follow-me - you specify what options you want to configure
- Aretta will custom configure your PBX to your exact 'cut sheet' specifications
- If you order pre-configured phones, they will be shipped such that when you plug them in, they automatically download their correct configuration and register with your hosted Asterisk server
- If you have any changes to your PBX after the initial setup, simply purchase a pay-as-you-go per-incident support pack and submit a support ticket to Aretta. We will then process the change.
It's as simple as that. Keep in mind, this is an Asterisk Support Service only, and it only works with the NetPBX hosted Asterisk products from Aretta OR other Asterisk systems that are installed. For troubleshooting non-Aretta Asterisk servers, we will need root access to the Asterisk server.
